I am Sorry about your roommate

A bunch of friends were at a friend's place in California and he had a bi-polar room mate who was cool with the party when we all got there. Two hours in, he flipped the table and punched a hole in the bathroom door because he didn't take his meds (because he wanted to drink with us). He got so violent that he just about threw the first room mate over the balcony because Richie was trying to calm him down and Tige locked arms with him and wanted to kill him... Needless to say, we all had to jump in and separate the two. Point of the story, don't wait until something like this happens, do what you need to get out of there as quickly as you can. It's sad when people are like this, they're friends and fantastic people (when they're normal or on their meds), but they're nightmares at other times. In this case, take care of your self first, then help your friend.

thats the thing thats what im trying to do and to do that i need a more stable place to live, we have been trying to help him alot but he refuses any help and ignores whats going on

You can offer him all the help in the world, you can't MAKE him accept it

I'm sorry to hear things aren't going smoothly for you Goldie, I would say I'd offer you a place but I'm in the state of getting ready to move myself. I hope one of your friends out there is able to set you up with a place to live, the conditions you're in now does not sound favorable at all. *big hugs*

Dude that's so rough. I feel bad for him that he has those problems, but it certainly doesn't make it any easier on you since you are constantly moving about. I hope he figures out a way to straighten himself up soon, and I hope that you find a stable place soon.

i do too, memory issues that tend to be that severe arent usually that fixable

I'm sorry to hear this is happening. I didn't know he was having these sorts of problems. He absolutely should be seeing a doctor if he's having the issues you describe. That could be something dangerous.

I don't know anybody who has space to let right now, but I'll let you know if something comes up.

I would offer you a place but i am being a caretaker to a person that has issues of his own. and you would be in the same situation. i know how stressful it can be to be around that , at least i can help him control his money so he dont put himself out of a home.

Last night my roommate busted in my room calling me a sick f@#k becuase somehow while i was letting his and my dog in, his cat managed to sneak in between the screen door and the outside door and got stuck between them theres a 4 to 6 inch gap between the doors im not sure how he did it but was an accident, most people would see this logically as just an accident.i still have no idea how his cat pulled it off, i watched both the bottom of the door while the dogs came in then shut the door, his cats get into everything, does anyone feel he was justified in what he said? i so want to be out of this place
