It's important to remember that the key individuals involved in all of this are the site owner and the guy in charge of recoding the entire site.

I do realize who the problem is in the matter, I won't leave FA because of that and plus here, I have more followers here. It's just that I've been here for a few years (I had a previous account and just lurked around) and I've watch some people grow especially artists that I liked, and that I'm here and trying to get out there, they just got up and left.

Nah. People are staying for all sorts of reasons, and I'd be an ass to make any sort of deal about it.

Moving over to Weasyl definitely feels like a shift. Just like moving from one place to another. There's the physical act of doing it, and then there's the emotional, which is harder to pin down and shake. And I've been here since nearly the beginning, and can definitely feel some of that.

I also just realized that I'm already following you on Weasyl, so the question about you joining it was kinda dumb on my part.

It's mainly because those people are the owners of the site, this is also not an odd case, the FA staff has always treated its userbase very poorly in the past and have made many broken promises, what happened the last few days was just the last straw for many people including me.

I understand why some choose to stay, whether it's for commissions or something else, but if there's a better easily accessible alternative people will usually go with that. For me, i had some good experiences on this site but im just not comfortable knowing im uploading art to a site which has shitty staff.

All in all, it just depends on how people feel and find appropriate for themselves.

Really? To be honest, I really didn't pay much attention to things like this in the past, I only learned about this occurrence because everyone here and on tumblr have been in total outrage about the staff.
