I found out I have 2 weeks holiday from last year that I never used. So I'll be using some of those around March!

I'm getting two really huge commissions next month. Two different artist will be drawing the same new creature design i came up with. The first one got to draw the sketch-page and even he's as excited as I am over it. Almost my entire art budget for two months will be going into these 2 pictures.

It is awfully nice! They managed to retire on a tropical island, which I think pretty much means they win at life. I hope I'm half as successful as they turned out. In the mean time, man, it's a great place to visit!

I'm absolutely psyched about my upcoming studies and the resulting career! It'll help me help others, be it financially or with advice as well as the job itself.
There's something absolutely fulfilling and satisfying about getting the job of your dreams with it also being useful to society. After all, we're only valued over how much we can do for our kind.

I'm going to be hitting up my first fur con in about three years. Used to be an avid con goer, but school, life, and such took over. Now there's going to be a new one in my back yard called great lakes fur con, and is going to take over after fcn decided not to continue. I'm looking forward to it!

Neat! I've only ever been to FC, and only twice so far, but it was a lot of fun. The best part was meeting up in person with so many of the awesome people I've worked with and interacted with in the community over the years.

I hope you have a blast the the replacement con!

Mostly, I'm trying to bring my weight down a little bit further before I head out there. At this point, I'm really not all that far from a good weight for my height. It'll be that last little bit that'll be the hardest, though!

I'm actually getting a story commission done and i'm so excited for it and can't wait for it to be done. It's about my two lovely dragonesses and myself having a "good time".

Oooo, cool! I really haven't done all that much with story commissions. I'm not sure I could hand over creative control for my characters like that. How do you like doing it? ^^

Well this is my very first peace so it's pretty cool!
And woah slow down there a tad bit will ya? XD I'm quite new to the game not to mention the franchise. Civ 5 has not been in my pc for more than three days at most. But I'm definitely getting a likes to it.

Alpha Centauri is kind of like Civ done with sci-fi. The starting tech level is assault rifles and dune buggies. It's pretty much my favorite 4X game ever!

The sci-fi theme really does get me. For games of around that age or so the only game that I got to enjoy at some level was X-com.

Went to Vegas last week for a few days to hang out at the SHOT Show. However mostly just went for the show, so didn't actually do any vegas-y things.
However it sounds like one of my 'uncles' is gonna take me again sometime in July for 21st b-day.

Other than that... Just trying to get a second job so I can move out and stuff.

Duuuude, SHOT Show! That's freaking awesome! :D I've never been, but I love watching all the videos and lusting after all the new goodies.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. This was my first time going to both shot and vegas.
I work part time at a local gun store that specializes in reloading equip. and stuff. So boss sent me and a couple other guys there to collect a bunch of fliers on pricing so we can see how we are comparing to everyone else out there.

It was fun. Got too see a bunch of neat things. Not too terribly much new stuff this year. Everyone and their mother is doing AR's. There were more new things being released on the knife scene.

But it was cool. I'd love to do it again to try to hang out and meet more people. Saw a handful of people I know of, but never said hi.

I have a new engine coming for one of my many project cars. This one is supposed to be completed before the Daytona Race event the NASA is having in November. (Got signed up to run already. So I have to have the car running! lol)

It's a hell of a good time, that's for sure! Nothing to do but lounge around, drink rum, eat seafood, and take pictures of birds. ~_~
