I am going to be fully moving over to Weasyl. There have been some issues on this site before, but I am appalled at the way the whole deal with Zaush and Project Phoenix are being handled. The first section of the new update says they've already started working on transparency and openness in the community. The only thing I've seen much of is censoring people and trying to hide shit. If that's being transparent then I want nothing to do with it. I know the situation with the new staff member wasn't a criminal record, and I don't know that they can simply fire a guy for things people are saying and don't have 100% true documented proof from the people involved. There is plenty of damning evidence that suggests the accusations are very true, and it's definitely not the first time the guy has been a major asshole to people in this community. I'm not great with flowery words or making things sound all nice so I will simply tell you what I think.

Yep, there has been a ton of drama, and it is really annoying. I am seeing loads of people going "it's not my problem they hired a possible rapist" and "lel everyone will come back in a week." Having someone with a history of sexual predation and possible rape is indeed your problem if you are a member of this site. The reasons should be obvious. I can see why people would think a lot of us would come back after a week, but this time I don't think it will work that way. I was hesitant to simply up and leave because I thought this would be handled in an adult manner and I would be able to continue with taking commissions here. Instead, the problem continues and I am not comfortable with it. I'm sorry if you have read all of this and are really fucking tired of WEHH I'M LEAVING FUK DIS, but I wanted to let the people who possibly care know that I won't be sticking around. I deal with enough shit in my life outside the internet, I don't want to add to it here.

If you're staying on FA, I hope the 2014 changes work out and they do manage to get the site overhauls done and working nicely. Would be nice to see a real change instead of empty promises. If you're also leaving, hopefully new places will treat you well.
