I figured I'd just throw my two cents on the matter because why the hell not?
I heard about the incident when it happened many years ago, and I was pretty shocked. When I heard about him becoming an admin, (Though he's not on the FA Staff page? Maybe just not yet, or something?) I was once again, pretty shocked, but to be honest, I don't really care anymore.
As a victim of something similiar, I can understand why people are.. upset, to an extent. After much thought, I'm one of the people who don't actually think Zaush is a rapist.
If I were going to tell someone I was raped, I wouldn't go to the admin of a site the person was on, even if it's one we both go on frequently, and expect something to be done about it. I won't go and say the woman was lying, but I do think it's a little odd that she decided the best course of action were to go to the Administrator of a furry website and expect something out of it.
I think it's a bit rash for people to just up and leave, but I don't fault them for their morals, because they're doing what they think is right, and that's just fine with me, though I am sad about it.
I personally won't be leaving over something that's none of my business anyway. I love FA, and it's many flaws, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

though I myself still thinks he did it, him being a known predator and what not~ you have a point as far as the jumping ship goes

I was a bit worried to throw it out there, but I just kind of felt like speaking my mind! I don't really fault anyone for thinking he did it, because that makes sense to me as well. I mean, I was one of those people up until recently.
Yeah, you're definitely right about that! I'm sure this'll be old news eventually.
