So, being broke as hell, I had to skip a lot of the indulgences I'm used to just to make January's bills - cheaper food, less running around, no major investments in my hobbies. I've already sold my xbox, and it was still looking dim. Technically it still is.

However, my cat gives absolutely zero fucks about this. Her usual food is pretty pricey, but it's supposed to be fantastic. After I bought the cat food I could afford, I monitored her intake to make sure she was willing to adjust. Four days with nary a kibble touched. >_>

After exchanging the bag for something she likes that's not QUITE as expensive, she happily plopped her butt down and ate it. I just realized - my cat went on a hunger strike to protest her living conditions. Of all the cats in all the world, why did I get Ghandi?

In other news, life is pretty good. Money has me really worried, but I've been getting a few commissions here and there, and taxes are only a month away from being in my hand. All I have to do is convince my landlord to take payment in form of IOUs, and I'm set.
