Well, I've put my best foot forward, and sent in a job application to a school in Northern Manitoba. It's basically everything I've been looking for in a job, and I don't mind being so remote (especially since the internet in the town is supposedly amazing). If this goes through, I'll be employed as the resident geeky teacher until at least June.
Of course, that also means that I'll be moving twelve hours north, to what is effectively the end of the roads. I believe this would qualify as a "life experience"
