As a countermeasure, might I suggest a little teaser script at the bottom of each page?
"To be continued Friday/Monday"
And then of course, putting a "The End" at the end of each arc. Long-running comics do that, or did that, all the time.
Or would Our Host rather not suffer fools?

Sometimes it's hard for a reader to accept that characters are meant to be fallible, that they can make mistakes, or come to to uncomfortable conclusions. Worse when it's a protagonist, which are often assumed to be mouthpieces for the author, giving voice to ever inner thought, and laying out "the truth," or what passes for it. It's a shame, because without the ability to be wrong, or run wayward from time to time, you lose a good hunk of the conflict that can drive a moment. Worse, it really does create a sort of perfected avatar in the guise of a character, one that lost their humanity when they lost their imperfections.

Sometimes, the only way to get around that is to try and assure your readers beforehand. Which can work, but now you've lost the element of surprise, the moment when everything clicks. Is it worth it?

I dunno, I'm still trying to figure out whether author forwards, and tagging stories, is a help or a hindrance. I know whenever I'm working with darker or heavier material, just mentioning something like cuckolding is liable to lose several readers. However, explaining that I handle the theme in a peculiar, romance-drive way, ends up handing the plot over before the reader has even begun.

I think most of the people came to that conclusion, because of the "strait guy x dick girl" thing. And who's to blame them, really? I mean, if things go as far as them ending up together and the guy becomes bisexual, when is was previously shown he was a woman hungry cat,... well, I dunno.
Society will always judge things that are just abnormal, and a dick girl is as abnormal as it gets. You'd expect a bi or maybe even gay to be attracted to that, but a strait guy? This is the dilemma that's happening.

Being attracted to someone who looks like a woman isn't really bisexuality, I don't think.

I can tell you from personal experience that there are a lot of straight guys who just like girls, no matter what they are packing downstairs. Doesn't mean they like guys too, they simply are attracted to the female gender. Sexuality goes much deeper than what parts you may or may not have.

It's the same thing when it comes to gender identity too, having a penis doesn't automatically make you a guy. Now I don't know how you feel about Audrey and her gender identity, but the people calling her a guy just seem ignorant to me. She has boobs, she has a very feminine face, and she goes to a lesbian event thingy, you would assume she wants to be called a girl.

Well, people don't delineate between "socially" and "biologically" when they say things like that. I don't think they mean any offense. Audrey is a contrast to the only other transsexual character to appear in my comics, Sparky. Sparky is a pornstar, intentionally sexualized to use her physical nature as a fetish. Audrey's just a male-to-female transsexual who is otherwise an ordinary person, who could live next door, or sit next to you in class, or whatever. This plot arc introduces her, but she's not the main character. This is mostly about Aron.

That's why I love Audrey so much, she's just so...normal. She's by far my favorite character you've ever introduced, even more so than Sparky and I loved her. It's nice to see trans characters who aren't overly sexual, I guess I'm trying to say. Keep up the good work, I'll be eagerly waiting for the next page on Friday!

Just a heads up, usually trans people do not like the term "transsexual" usually they opt for "transgender" because transsexual has been used as a slur for some time.
But that's just a little nitpick; keep up the good work man, its nice to see diversity that doesn't feel forced, Audrey is cute and I hope we see Aron grow a bit character-wise :>

Basically what I'm saying, is that if people are going to complain about it, and not like you, or your art work/comics because of something that you did that they didn't like, or something that you didn't do that they wanted you to, then they can go elsewhere. Because as a hard working highly respected Furry artist (And a great one at that), you shouldn't have to put up with that kind of crap. Those people need to stop acting like petulant little two year old children who are throwing a temper tantrum just because they couldn't get their way.

honestly now and then I forget about the updates and get to read a few at a time and get sad when I catch up only to realize the update is "tomorrow" from whence I caught up XD but then the next one comes out and I'm once more laughing or telling my room-mates about the latest update and we all laugh together or whatever...People will always find something to bash or get angry/sad/emotional about because it is within the nature of ones person to do such a thing... ^^;; but then again... tis also in our nature to be selfish and greedy ^^ I'mma shush nao because I forgot where I was going with this @_@

Maybe you should read some prior comics. Or if you did, read them again if you missed that Aron and Beth aren't together anymore, and Aron and Trixie live in a clothing optional community, and that Trixie isn't Audrey, and they're on a couch, not a bed.

I fail to see how anyone who's followed your comics and art for any length of time could have assumed you were just going to leave this story arc hanging after the page you put up on Monday. Ending the story arc right there would've been a really bad move from a story telling standpoint, not to mention its clear from the sketches/drawings you've done of Audrey that you've put too much thought into her character to just throw the arc away like that. But I guess that's some people for you. I'm personally loving Audrey and Aron's story arc a lot and I can't wait to see the next page!

I'm more confused about the vodka remark. Did she pick up the vodka bottle by mistake? I would have had him say something like, "That's my vodka, your water is over there." That way the audience has an idea that there are two bottles nearby since you can't see them in the comic.

I don't see a problem with Aron's reaction at all. He has been in a straight relationship since his introduction and one would assume he likes girls, a lot. Finding someone who he is attracted to, has had sexual fantasies revolving around Audrey being female and wanted to see them fulfilled in real life only to find the female in his mind is actually male can be quite jarring. Most people have to adjust to a situation like that before they can interact with them further.

Transgender though is complicated. In my opinion, and this is just me talking about myself, I might date someone who is trans but how they got that way makes a huge difference. If they are naturally transsexual and it is a part of who they are is one thing but if you are doing the operations, hormones and whatnot and you look like Kevin Bacon in drag, I'm not interested. Those who jump to conclusions on your comic arcs, in my own personal opinion, don't fully or perhaps even at all, appreciate a good narrative that builds and does not just end after 2 minutes of reading etc. In the end for them if its not what they would do, or if they think its going to be something they don't like, then they just . . . well . . . meh, you know?

Haven't read OL in almost three weeks, what am I missing?

Aliens invaded, with all their friends either dead or captured Audrey and Aron have claimed power armor off two fallen elite alien commandos and retook the capital. Working with the remnants of the Government they kept wave after wave of genetic horrors unleashed by the invaders that looked straight out a work by HR Giger with a slight Cthulhu vibe with Audrey covering the entrenched Presidents Park and Aron covering what has become a hellscape that was north of the Capital building, while a team of scientists lead by Dr Abigail (barely out of collage when the Aliens struck) build a gigantic rail gun that will fire a nuclear payload in order to strike directly at the ships in orbit. However the elite alien commandos used drop pods to land directly in front of the Capital building and blew out an important (and irreplaceable part) as well as severely injuring Audrey.

WARNING: the above might contain complete and total bullshit.
