It is snowing generously today.

Here's some stuff I wanted to say:
And having lived in rural Georgia my whole life, I did not expect this in the least. XD
Whenever weather man cries "snow", our groceries fill up with people seeking bread and milk (for some reason), but I don't panic in the least because it never actually snows.
...
Well, almost never.
Today, the snow has completely covered, well, everything. I had to leave work early on completely smothered and frozen roads; this being my first inclement weather driving experience, it was terrifying, to say the least. It took me about 20 minutes to make a normally 7-minute drive. But hey, kudos to my car, because it didn't slide in the least. :D I went between 15-20 miles per hour the whole way home, but I didn't dare take my car up our driveway. It is a very steep, diagonal slope, and it's buried under snow, so I parked that shit at the bottom and hoofed it up.
/end rant

My funny snow story (I haven't left the house today..): When it snowed so much in MO, I figured Boyfriend (who works night at a Holiday Inn) would stay at the hotel, because if they have spare rooms, the employees can stay in inclement weather. I'm laying in bed, trying to stay warm, when I hear the door. I go into the kitchen, and there is Boyfriend, covered in snow. "You didn't drive in that, did you??" (There was around 8 inches of snow on the ground at this point, visibility was crap, and the plows were starting to give up) "No," he says, "I walked some of it." :O He couldn't drive up the hill to the house. I was kind of upset that he'd risk the drive AND the frostbite, but then when he gave his reason, I melted. "I wanted to make sure you were okay. I know you aren't used to this weather.."
I'm about to whip out my camera. :U
Whip it out! :D~
