Manchester furmeet - 8th February

Ohhai! Manchester mini furmeet on Saturday 8th February!
~ Please remember the meet is 16+ only ~
This months furmeet will be held at Tribecca bar in Manchester near Sackville gardens. If you are unsure where this is, newbies meet up at between 11am and 12pm at Manchester Piccadilly train station outside platforms 1 and 2. It always helps to have someone’s mobile number in case you get a bit lost or feel shy. Feel free to message any staff or volunteers to ask for a number to contact people on. Pizza and Rixie will be waiting to welcome you at the station and is free to talk to any shy MancFurs who may be attending their first meet. Don’t worry! We've all been there! :)
We’ll make our way to Tribecca, our host venue, dead on 12 so don't get left behind. After you’ve arrived, the day is yours to spend as you see fit. Go out with a group of your friends to the city centre, stay inside the venue and take part in some activities, sit in the nearby gardens, head to the cinema and so forth. Remember the fursuit walk is at 3pm so get changed before this time please!

Activities
This month we have a whole bunch of activities for people to take part in. Feel free to just wander over and join in! =D Activities this month include but aren't limited to:
Card games
Feel free to bring any card games you have like Pokemon or Magic. Don't be shy just ask to play! Other card games provided include snap, poker and blackjack.
Art corner
Every meet we have an art corner hosted by Diesel and Karou. Feel free to pull up a chair and get drawing. This corner is open to everyone with pens and paper provided. Artists can sit down and even sell art/print/merc (No cash exchange inside the venue please) Speak to Diesel and Karou at the meet for further details!
Please note: The art corner will be in the upstairs purple lounge for this meet!
Drinking games
As the evening goes on a few staff and volunteers will be hosting some drinking games! Games TBA but suggestions are always welcome!
Fursuit walk
The fursuit will take place at 3pm so we recommend you change before this time and be ready to leave. It's raining we usually stay inside the venue though.
Note on the fursuit lounge, red lounge and fursuiters safety
Unfortunately the Red lounge (back part of the bar) is booked by a private party (not related to MancFurs) for this meet only. This means the art corner will be upstairs in the purple lounge. Please respect the venue and their bookings and don't go sitting over there anyway for any reason. The purple lounge is booked for MancFurs until 6pm - it then becomes open to the public.
Fursuiters also be aware you are responsible for your own suit (this should go without saying really) and I really would recommend getting a handler if you're not 100%. Our friendly volunteers would be more than happy to keep an eye on you for the fursuit walk if you don't have any spare friends to hand. I really don't want someone to end up getting hurt at the furmeets. =(
Our headless lounge is for changing into fursuit only so please register your fursuit when you arrive with Pizza at the top of the bed bar stairs! The downstairs area or bed bar is booked until 5.30pm so please make sure all personal belongings are cleared before this time! If fursuits or belongings are left in the fursuit lounge AFTER 5.30pm they will be moved to the public bar area by staff. Look after your fursuit!
If you are asked to leave the fursuit lounge as you are not a fursuiter then please do so. The fursuit lounge over the past meets seems to have become a social area which it isn't! Even if you have a fursuit you cannot hang out down there and drink. This type of behavior is making other fursuiters, who are trying to get changed, uncomfortable. Socialise in the upstairs bar area please not in a changing room...
