Nice to see you again. Love the idea of a fire and ice post. Right now for me its a bit of a fire time in Adelaide. 40+ degree C temperatures which is over 100 degrees F so there is a tendency to cook during the cooler night and make a lot of salad. No longer drinking hot tea but making a big tea and letting it cool down then putting it on ice has been the yummy thing for me lately. This last week we stick the aircon on and sleep in the day get up in the evening to do things at night like watering, washing etc, feed the chooks at 6am, go to the beach for a swim about 7 or 8 before it gets too hot, come home, aircons on again and crash for the day. Its so weird. I must admit we've had more takeaways these last few weeks because of the heat too.

We expect hot weather throughout Feb and into early March before autumn may actually show up. I look forward to trees changing colour, less heat and the promise of a cool winter. Not that we get cold winters here...no snow for me.*hugs*
