the self loathing is pretty normal, but it takes a backseat when you look at your super super super old crap and you realize how much youve improved. Its inspiring in a way. looking at old ideas. so fun

yeah but when you go back to the very oldest stuff you can find its like "wow. That sucked so bad and i was so proud i was such a goofball im glad i got better" and then you feel better about how you've improved and you feel better about drawing.
