An Energy Drink with NO SUGAR! Happy Demoncoon! 8D
11 years ago
So, first a little backstory, come the turn of the year I made a New Year's Resolution so hit my goal weight by my birthday, September 17th. Now I won't divulge exactly what I need to lose to hit my target, but any lifestyle change to get healthy and fit is an uphill battle! I've had to cut back on the demon treats and start taking my demon vitamins instead!
One thing I've found hard, though, is having to give up soda and such. I like teas, but so many teas nowadays have as much sugar as sodas, so really you're only giving up the bubbles, and energy drinks are so full of bad things (I am aware that there are 'diet' and 'sugar free' energy drinks, but really, their energy is almost entirely derived from their sugar content, so really, it seems like a waste to bother with them)
Then my friend introduced me to something called XS, it has no sugar and actually tastes good! I've been drinking them since and have really enjoyed what I've been getting!
This may get a little commercial (and if sharing this is against any rules I guess I'll take down the journal), but with so many people trying to lose weight and get healthy, I figured I would share this energy drink to those who drink Monster and Red Bull and other sugary drinks. My friend showed me where you can get them online (apparently they don't even carry them in stores, which is a shame, but buying online isn't bad):

You do have to register on the site to buy anything, but its free at least! My buddy helped me sign up, all ya gotta so is register for a free account using an IBO# 6891963 and an IBO Key which is DAC. Best thing is if you pick a bad flavor, you can still drink all the cans and return them within 6 months for a full refund! (I bought the variety pack though to hopefully avoid this, though!)
Anyway, wish a demoncoon luck in his New Year's Resolution! Hoping to be a svelte ringtail by September! 8D

Yeah, I always do research on these things, cause I drink energy drinks too....scientists still haven't figured out if taurine actually does anything or not. But yes, moderation is always key. Drinking too much of anything (including water!) can be hazardous.
Thanks for the concern! *gives a thankful butt squeeze!* 8D
Not only is X6 healthier than those frappawhatevers, but a helluva lot cheaper. XP
As for energy drinks, a no sugar base seems good. But don't go overboard. Too many can cause health issues owo
Also, this may have sent twice. Silly phone xD
Coons band together! Tailband that is, ho ho ho!
My reason for never drinking water was pretty much the same as yours: there's no taste to enjoy. But eventually I wanted to just kick the habit a little.
I eventually made the switch to water. I did this simply by forcing myself to drink cold water if I was craving a coke. It helps that we have one of those fridges that dispense cold water and ice, so the laziness in me kicked in because it was actually a lot easier to get water. Eventually, iy made Coke unappealing if I'm not eating (I still drink soda if I'm eating a meal). I would also start drinking Gatorade/vitamin water to sort of help the transition along (I would not recommend vitamin water, as it is pretty unhealthy, which I was not aware of at the time).
The end result is that it has lead to me feeling pretty good! I'd recommend you do the same. What you have now is a good step, but as Kusac pointed out, energy drinks can be just as unhealthy in other ways. Caffeine in particular can be very dangerous in large quantities (and at the very least it can make you feel like shit).
I wish ya luck with your goal, Demoncoon! I will be glad to help provide a workout :Bc
sparkling ice is the main brand of the company Talking Rain it has flavor and unlike the horrible taste of the original it has powerful soda like taste except it's all fruit flavors and has powerful colors so it looks to less spill friendly then walmart's carbonated waters
