I started writing a response to

but it got long so i decided to post it as a journal instead and link it.
i have to say my favorite line was
"i suggest you remove yourself from my reach before your 'self preservation' is endangered."
i must admit i dont remember who i voted for or if i even did vote for a president and i dont know why ron paul is any better then obama or bush I'm very uneducated when it comes to politics and more then half the time I've found myself wondering why we even bother if politicians insist on lying to get positions like a fucking popularity contest.
but i agree with everything stated here
and on a slightly relevant side bar i also love and take pride in the fact that our founding fathers those men who wrote our constitution were committing treason at the time and i have to wonder, no need to answer me its just a thought i want you to answer to yourself,
who out of all of you would have shot them on the spot or let them hang?
Thats my point... these men, all of them, risked their very lives on a single piece of paper with some simple little words on it. changes to it should not be taken lightly.
Consider this, banning guns wont change anything except maybe a higher jail population and increased debt (currency and to society) the idea that banning something is going to make the world better is idiocy. Banning guns wont get them off the street they will still be used illegally its not going to change anything except of course that the 7-11 clerk cant defend himself when being robbed or a law abiding man and his family cant protect what belongings they have left from looting after a natural disaster that a man cant protect his family (this goes for women too don't think I'm being sexist)
We need someone or something to blame that is the thought process of most people in the world whether they know it or not and so when someone says guns are evil guns cause wars guns kill people they jump right in with their own self righteous bull shit blinded by their ego.
for those people I suggest that if your not too busy shoving your head up your ass or the asses of others( or both) i suggest you watch V for Vendetta and really listen ... REALLY... and Im not saying that that is the end all solution because its not but its a damn good start and what i think is an accurate depiction of what we'll end up like should we start changing the constitution at a mere whim.
