Edit: Ok to be fair, I think I can see where this is going. The characters did actually need some sort of new integration to the game. I mean, it was running, running, running, speed, speed; yeah, that is awesome but I do understand it.
Looking at it a bit more, it did change my mind a bit. This is kinda what Sonic needs! Because it's actually funny but the fans would actually start whining over not seeing anything new? I mean seriously? All we would do is bitch and moan?
*APPROVED* Because well, it'd get bland if it just stayed as it was? I mean, we got used to Sonic the Hedgehog moving to Sonic Adventure, didn't we?

But the series again I think needed to go in another direction! Maybe you don't agree! But there! You get to keep old Sonic!
