Definitely - just two caveats, if I'm in suit I can't hear well so probably not the best to try to converse then. Second is that if you're talking for like > 10 minutes without stopping and I'm staring elsewhere and saying "uh huh" a lot, I'm probably not that into that story about the one time your mom blah blah blah :P
