Introduce Yourself

There are a lot of people who watch this account whom I've never had the pleasure of speaking to. I actually don't know who the majority of you all are. So let's fix that! Go on, tell me a little about yourself. Your interests, passions. Tell me about your character. Anything you see fit to let me or others know. :D

Well at first I really didn't understand you...I have two really strong pet peeves, one of which is "overly negative people on the Internet." There's so much of it it's disheartening. So you had already struck a nerve cuz, hoo boy, look at you, hating on everything and everyone like isn't this clever.
And while I still don't understand that, you had so many people that I knew and appreciate liking and appreciating you, so I felt like I was missing something...so yep, that's why I'm watching you!
I'm a courier fox who likes inflatable things and hugging and the two are totally overlapping most of the time.
... am I doing this right?
But that's me. Clawy I know NOTHING about you, please fill me in.
I'm currently a college sophomore working on a Graphic Design/Education double major while maintaining a humorous friendship with someone half a year younger but a foot taller than me. The major goal is to become either a college graphic design instructor or to instruct at an elementary school and work my way up to assistant principle. Possibly become an independent animator as a hobby on the side. But until that day comes, I try to maintain life with my mom and sister (all the while avoiding my dead beat dad), and hope we can get to a better situation by the time my sis gets into college. Currently I draw and comic as a way to express myself. According to others, I'm sweet person, I'm just way too shy.
And I think that sums up me.
I even like making new friend as well. Sometimes I do get pranked by my friends as well.
I'm a goddamn dog, I like equality and complimenting people, video games, rap music, dance, uh... I'm a film major...
okay that's good enough I'm leaving ignore that 8-ton weight above your head cya
And I'mma welcome that 8-ton weight the same way I'mma welcome you: with open arms.
Timber's the name! I'm a full-time freelance voiceover artist currently, but I want to do cartoon voices for the big animation studios someday! I like pretending to be a dog on the internet and I love cartoons and heavy metal. I've come to love and adore toony artwork and toony characters, hence my interest in watching your page! Also I enjoy followin' your mischief on twitter!
I'm mainly known by Wildfox, but I also have my other alts like Skamper Skunk and Poly Opossum. I'm nothing too exciting other than just being another regular fur who works alot and does alot of things for fun. I'm also a gamer, a brony, and a fan of inflatable toys including my large hamster ball. Other than that, I'm a quiet person when you see me in person. Just tagging along and not saying too much. :P
Want a piña colada?
lol talented
Yeah, no. HAH.
Now that that's out of the way, I mainly followed (here and on twitter) for the toony art you keep commissioning. Besides, there's something innately funny about a duck toller watching/following a duck.
I'm Coora, a wedge-tailed eagle from that teensy li'l country in Central Europe which is roughly the size of the state of Kentucky, named Austria. While my character Coora is female, I am a not-at-all-special guy, a quiet observer, but open towards people and interested in chatting with and meeting people. I don't draw, write, or make music, and I don't have a fursuit (...yet). My favorite pastimes include being out in the open (even when I'm at work), learning about animals and people, their psychology and personality, experimenting with photography, and driving - or rather cruising :3
Coora is like an extension or a complement to my stoic personality. While she's just as friendly and loyal to people, she's a lot more energetic and downright mischievous, but not to the point of being insulting or mean.
Your character piqued my interest, also because there aren't a lot of bird characters, at least not many truly unique ones, so I decided to do what I do best - quietly lurking in the background observing ^^
Your turn :D
I also really like your character, though I have a heavy bias since I adore bird characters of all sorts. I can't agree with being out in the open- I'm a bit of a shut-in, haha. But I do enjoy a good cruise when the mood strikes. And I'm also all for mischief- you might have noticed, I enjoy a good prank. :D
Don't be a stranger! Lurking is fine, but if you ever need someone to talk to, just let me know. :D
Thank you for the compliment! Does that mean I should be on the watch for any pranks coming my direction? :3
Oh, and yeah, chatting is a great idea! Though I have to admit I'm rather scarce on FA, so it'd be easier chatting via email or Skype, if you like ^^

The character has been around for almost 20 years. Rather banal design, admittedly, being that it was birthed in the mind of a 3-year-old. Developed him throughout my childhood and wrote him into stories here and there, without so much of an inkling of the existence of furry until less than 2 years ago.
Though I know what you mean about the "character since childhood" thing. While he hasn't been around for 20 years, another character of mine is going on about nine or ten now. He's a fairly generic fantasy character who's changed a lot as I've grown up and gotten better at writing, but he's effectively been around as long as I can remember. Even a plainly-designed character can generate lots of interest, and you're a perfect example of that yourself. :)
My fursona is an indigo/orange Yoshi-Rex mix, Rex as in the Super Mario World one because I don't think I've seen anyone on FA's who is one, so I'm kinda filling that hole. He can also shapeshift into other creatures, breathe fire, and fly with his wings (of course this means, he can be squished too).
I currently live in New York and my interests usually involve gaming and drawing for the most part I think. Personality-wise, I may be shy once we start, but depending how long it takes, I can be pretty friendly and such.
I like you and your character. You're a duck, which there isn't a lot of in my opinion. You're toony, which is awesome 'cause I love cartoons. And, from what I've seen from times I've seen you in a stream chat, you have a funny personality, so yeah. That's what got me interested into you.
I'm also a video editor, cameraman, EDM musician, and I also draw here.
I've joined FA at first, focusing mainly on drawing. But at time went by, I was able to make some friends here.
Don't get me wrong. I AM a bit anti-social, and shy, so communication is what I'm still working on.
Even though I still live with my parents, I hope one day to gain full independence, even at age 21.
Oh, and I tend to entertain others every now and then.
Well, that's all I can say about moi. How about YOU, duino?
Plus, I'm always constantly dragged away by my folks. Pretty needy.
It's almost like I've hardly much time to be a standard furry. Painful...
...I say 'also' a lot. That's 'bout it, aye.
I love goggles and I have a cast of characters I use for things, but no character/fursona of my own. I enjoy love to draw, but I don't post on FA, just tumblr and weasly.
I love playing JRPGs and platformers.
Oh yes, I agree. I enjoy some JRPG series, but others don't cut it for me. I'm not highly addicted with them, but they eat my time if a new one in the series I play comes out.
Hello. My name is Richard. I am from Waltham, Massachusetts. I will be turning 30 in less than a month from now. My part-time job is taking down and puting up price tags at Stop & Shop. I like to draw, travel, go to sports events, play with my dog Bella, and listen to EDM.
In my character's world:
Hello. My name is Cyan Glaciertooth. I am from the northern cold territory called Massachusetts. I am a New England polar wildcat (Felis Frosticus). My usual daily routine includes drawing, playing EDM really loud, being cute, being adorable, being silly, losing my sanity for others pleasure, and being a heart bandit. ^^

Currently studying cinema, music and literature at university, and I freaking love filling out paper notebooks with useless notes and considerations.
I'm currently in college, where I run to class as fast as I can so I can get back to sleep quicker, I can only afford ramen noodles and complain about it on my new smartphone, and I reward myself with 6 hours of playing on the internet after a busy day of studying for 20 minutes. I single-handedly got the expression "There are no stupid questions" removed from all campus lectures because I asked if I could be the parade float for the upcoming football game since I got caught in my room blushing with the campus' airpump used to inflate the sports balls in the gym. I got kicked out of the school cafeteria for trying to start foodfights every time they had fresh pies by jumping on the table with arms wide open. The only valentine I sent this year was a love note to the school bully asking "wed'gie be my valentine? My only extracurricular activity this semester is leading a single-man protest to allow me to play Dorthy in this year's Wizard of Oz play. I didn't find it fair that I qualified for every other role except Dorthy: not having a brain, not having a heart, being a coward, and barking the same line over and over.
I draw comics, some people might know my Furreh Nuuz Teevee stuff. I also do autobio comics. I also take used vinyl and paint people's characters on them.
Eryshé is pretty much me covered in blue/peach fur. Division/Divvy is the bright red kangaroo that I have a partial of and is known to hang out in hipster Brooklyn bands' music videos, and he's more of the extroverted version of me. Those are the main fursonas.
I've worked in record stores for close to 2 decades, and as a result, I'm a huge fan of many different styles of music. I currently work for a specialty grocery store doing sign art and writing the order for cut cheese in the store.
I like hanging out with friends drawing more comics and socializing. :D
Vinyl is SUPER interesting. I never really got "into" music until everything was turning digital, both as a symptom to my youth and because even then I've only been aware of what culture is for about three or four years. As such it's a format that I've always been curious about. I've been to a record store or two and I love the atmosphere inside, really comforting and mellow. Most of the stuff I listen to myself is electronic, fast-paced, but with a lot of rock elements. And I know that kind of music takes heavy influence from the past, so it's fun to discover more about those roots. :)
Friends and socializing is great too! I do that a lot. At this point it feels like all I do. :P
My story about me and the fandom has been interesting. I came across it by a purely random event. I was on YouTube watching roller coaster POV videos. One user I came across had a video that had good quality and was not shaky like watching Cloverfield. I clicked on their profile and the featured video on their channel was of a bunch of fursuiters walking around a well decorated neighborhood around Christmastime. I thought the video was cute so I favorited it. Later I get recommended videos by Tilt Longtail which eventually linked me to FA. The cartoon animal art immediately piqued my interests because I had always been a fan of cartoons. I have a lot of those spotlight collection DVD’s of Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and Disney cartoons just to put things in perspective.
My character was originally supposed to be a red panda but he would look like a fox when I made my first attempts to draw him. I eventually came up with the Fandox hybrid as a fox with red panda color schemes. I wanted to give him some distinctive features so I gave him the blue plaid shirt, socks, nose, inner ears, and paw pads.
I hardly ever drew anything at all before I discovered the fandom. However, in August 2012, I went to an attraction in Disney’s California Adventure called the Animation Academy where an artist gives a step by step tutorial drawing a different character in each session. I spent over four hours during the day going to one session after the other because I enjoyed drawing the characters so much. When I looked at the drawings afterwards, I felt proud of myself so I started using the little techniques they used in the animation academy to teach myself how to draw and now here I am today.
I watched you at first because of your character. Many artists I watch drew your character on multiple occasions and he stood out to me because I liked his design and the slapstick nature of the works he would be drawn in. I also watched a few livestreams you would be a co-host in and your comments you would make were humorous and I thought you were pretty funny.
(Damn that's a lot of text xD)
No for real, this is a really good journal. I am enjoying reading the comments !
I'm TobyDingo, I'm from good ol' England, I like to draw toony stuff, I'm a DJ/Barista/Chef, I like peanut butter.... Yup.
Cheers
Also, you should know that your twitter is a good source for inspiration. You really do got some good ideas. Like the one you wrote about daydreaming about pie. That is adorable <3
Although... I hear pressed duck is good. :3
I met ya in one of your free insults sessions, but you chargd me 10 cents.
Then I fell in love with your cartoonish style
Hehe, I always enjoy being submissive bear pelted with pies by dominant duck like you.
you're truly popufur now u_u
(even though like 2/3 of them are just you responding to people haha)
I won't be popufur until I get a stalker. The position is open if you're interested!
i do sometimes peek at your twitter account to check on the State of Duino so i guess i'm already halfway there
