At last and for months of waiting... finally I got the GTA 4 PC version in my machine. Really the game ROCKS!!! but really I need a powerfull machine for run it perfectly ( I'm running it with a rate of 15 to 35 FPS) but I'm happy with this game. and the important of all is I can avoid the "drunken camera" with a cracked executable after of trying with many cracked files to run this game.
By now I'll continue drawing... This game really is killing my free time for acomplish all my delayed works :P

They have working cracks now :P Today they also released the first patch with many improvements so time to wait for a new crack. And the system really does need a high end machine. Well. Video card anyways. You cant max it on a 512mb card >_< Ridiculous.

o.o Is that really all that surprising? You can get an 896 MB card for $200 or less, and you expect something with ~half the RAM to be able to run it on max?

Well considering something like Crysis at max only needs like. 512mb GPU ram yes. It is. Im running about half quality at 512mb. Which would to me indicate youd need a card of at LEAST 1gb. So youd literally have to go Crossfire or SLI to run the game at max quality.

True but still. I can max out Crysis at Ultra High and be playable at 1024x768 where I can only get half of max in GTA 4 with same resolution.

Crysis probably just uses less memory for some reason. Perhaps they have some clever way of generating new textures on the fly so they only have to store a few prototype leaves and dirt patches. GTA 4 has a bunch of people, vehicles, buildings, etc which have different textures~
