Duct Tape can fix ANYTHING!!!

I've had a lot of problems with my PC lately, due to a bent prong on the plug for the monitor wire.
The prong was finally fixed, but now the graphics card is worn out --- a computer repair place tells me that it'll last 6 months to a year.
To get around the problem, I had to wiggle the plug up and down in the socket. That would clear the garbling from the screen (and prevent the display from crashing when not in "Safe Mode" O-:).
That trick stopped working after awhile, but I noticed that the garbling still stopped when the plug was lifted up. So, I DUCT-TAPED IT into the up position, and now the display is just fine!
Another day, another bullet dodged. XD

Can duct tape extinguish fires?
But can it help with supposedly amphibious vehicles?
