So today my mate  gjwolf and I made the last minute decision to go to NWI Comic Con, a rather small local con for us that's just getting started this year. It was in Schererville, IN and the out pour of people was absolutely amazing. With the simple spread by word of mouth, this tiny con housed in a restaurant-like venue was hopping with activity. I ran into one of my best friends from college there and our brother-in-law was there with a platoon of shadow storm troopers and other things of the like. It proved to be a fantastic time, and regardless of being a comic con, we were able to suit and get a very positive response from the masses! We even found another suiter sporting a fantastic Flash Sentry that was self made. All and all, the con was very small and a bit congested, but NWI definitely hosts a plethora of geeks and nerds itching to show off their costumes and wares! I hope to see this con grow and become something great. :)
