Dream narrative #8
I’ve had some interesting dreams lately, and the last few were fairly short, at least what I can remember of them, so I’m grouping them together. The dreams I will tell of are varied, and sometimes strange as dreams often are. That’s what I love about them. Hope you enjoy their telling as much as I do.
#1: Leo
I was on campus, hanging out with friends at some central location. We were probably eating a meal, or just sitting around in the lounge. Either way there was a large window beside me, with a good view of a little park area outside. I looked out the window and saw that a bunch of fursuiters were wandering by, just having fun and enjoying whatever they were doing.
It was odd to see a large group of them like that since I don’t really even know any furries here on campus. I can’t remember specifically what most of them looked like. The one that sticks out clearly in my mind was a lion. There wasn’t much more to say about him other than that; he was a very normal, average looking lion. Nonetheless he is the one that took my interest.
Sometime later I contacted him. There was no sense of the passage of time in the dream but I must have spent at least some figuring out who he was.. Through the internet at first I suppose, and later I spoke to him over the phone, setting up a meeting. When he came to see me, the area we were in was very similar to the woods behind my home. It was very nice out, warm enough to merit such an outdoor encounter. He was big compared to me, in shape but not heavily muscular by any means, and had a clean-shaven head.
In person, I don’t recall there having been any verbal communication between us. It seems there was no need for that. I was on all fours, naked before him with no memory of the transition from clothedness to nudity. As he moved in closer behind me on his knees I worried a little about the pain, being a virgin in this sense. A few moments later as he pushed his length into me slowly and after he’d entered me completely I realized this wasn’t going to hurt me as much as I had thought it might. He started to thrust into me, picking up the pace quickly, and surprised me a good deal by lasting only a minute or so at best. Before I could consider that very much at all, my father stumbled across the two of us, not all that surprising since we were near my home, but I imagine he was surprised. This dream came to an end at that point, without anyone having really reacted to the situation.
#2: Fair Loss
This one starts out at a country fair. I’m there alone, just enjoying myself and having a snack every once in a while. I randomly run into my dad and my sister there and wander around with them for a while. My dad and I decide to leave eventually but my sister doesn’t come with us. I think she may have been working at one of the booths somewhere. In any case I was driving the two of us home in my van. I’m not really sure how my dad got there to begin with since my sister can’t drive and he’s in the vehicle with me now.
On the way home there was a sudden car accident in front of us. I managed to stop soon enough that I wasn’t caught up in it myself but it was a near thing. My dad and I get out to check out the situation, see if everyone is okay and everything. We find out from one of the drivers involved that they apparently had an accident earlier and then tried to drive themselves to a hospital and got in another accident. His friend is still sitting in the car with a big five-gallon bucket over his left leg. My father and the driver go to help this man out of the wrecked vehicle, because he apparently was harmed more in the first accident than this one. As they lift him from the seat, they leave the bucket behind and I see that his left leg ends slightly below the knee in a bloody mess.
With that image I shocked myself into wakefulness.
#3: A Novel Experience
In this dream I was reading a book, and as I read this book the story was actually happening around me. There was no sense of my reading it causing anything to happen. It was more like the book and reality were loosely based on each other. It was like watching a movie based on a story while simultaneously reading the story, except that I was in the movie. This lent the whole dream a continuous sense of déjà vu. I was not a character in the story but in the reality of the dream I sort of tagged along with the people and they accepted that as if that was perfectly normal.
So anyway the story I was reading, and hence the reflected reality, was an action-y adventure sort of thing about conspiracies and whatnot. It’s the sort of stuff that I read about once in a while. The main character and I were pursuing a dangerous criminal across international borders for quite a while, and the dream took place when we finally caught up with him. His name, oddly enough, was Jar Jar. He was an oriental man though, and he reminds me very strongly of the character Lao from The Dark Knight. Their crimes were of a similar nature.
I encountered the criminal out in the middle of nowhere, someplace with a lot of vegetation near the equator. The main character from the story drove up and came to a stop rapidly, sticking his hand out the window with a key inexplicably. He informed the criminal that he was under arrest in South America, which was apparently not where we currently were. Without much of a struggle we managed to tie him up and the main character placed the criminal in the driver’s seat of the car. We had to transport him back to South America so we could detain him there I guess. The main character thought it would be a good idea to force him to drive since we had pulled guns on him. That seemed really strange to me, or rather stupid, so I tried to argue it with him. While we were talking I was standing next to the criminal, outside the driver’s side door. Suddenly another car came out of nowhere and slammed into the left side of the front of our car, nearly running me over in the process. This startled me a bit but the driver was someone we were working with so we weren’t too alarmed. The driver was another asian man, much beefier and more dangerous looking than our captive. He had a short pony tail and a small goatee, and the last thing I remember about this dream is that we all got into his vehicle to continue our journey. Just before that though I grabbed the book I’d been reading out of the backseat of our old vehicle. I was nearly finished reading it.
