The Great Wall of.... Kansas?

Here's some WTF for your evening.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone with a PhD in fluid dynamics only has a first grade understanding of meteorology... or economics for that matter. I really hope the guy who proposed this is just trolling.

The really interesting thing, to me, is that it suggests that big, violent tornadoes would be long-lived machines, living at least as long as their parent thunderstorm; but they don't. They eventually choke off their own fuel line.
(Example: Based on what we know about tornadoes now - what you were discussing - I make an educated guess that the infamous Tri-State wasn't a single tornado, but a family of F4/F5 tornadoes; still an extremely rare occurrence, but not quite as people think it is).
What both states aren't telling you though, is that they're actually building 1000 ft high walls to keep the gay out, as well all know how fabulous a gay hurricane can make a place.
