Dropped the ball on commissions, sorry

I realize I've been kind of slacking around with my commissions lately and I wanted to apologize to everyone about it. I'll be honest, all of the deadlines I'm making for myself are stressing me out to the point where it's almost impossible to work on them.
I realize this is pretty much my own fault, but I'm also going to try and fix it by taking the rest of the day to... unwind, and not worry about them before coming back to them.
I'm sorry about this, because I didn't really intend for any of this to happen. I'm usually pretty good at finishing commissions in a timely manner, but lately it's been difficult.
I apologize for the inconvenience of this causes any.

It can be tough doing a bunch of commissions at once. I know that from personal experience
in my experience most clients are totally cool with delays as long as you're totally open and honest about the delay and don't make further commitments that you won't be able to keep. One blown deadline with a clear explanation is better that five blown deadlines caused by trying to catch up with everything at once.
So yeah. We all over-commit from time to time but it's about your clients knowing they can trust you. Just keep in touch and make realistic promises and 99% of clients will be fine :3
I have a problem with trying to make people happy, and in the end it kind of... gets muddied up, and then I end up getting stressed out. I thought I learned everything there was to learn about the commission world, but I'm happy to say I was wrong!
I will keep this in mind for the future! I feel like that's some good advice right there, thank you!
Don't freak out too much over problems, the more you freak out, the more time you'll need to stop freaking out and actually start dealing with said problems.
Also people usually don't get too upset over waiting in general just as long as you tell them why they're waiting and/or that you're sorry for making them wait. :3
Thanks a lot for the little egg of advice :3
