Starting a comic -- need ideas

Ranks and insignias:
Pup................None
Guardian.........Paw Print
Medic.............Cross
Warrior...........Scar
Kin.................Star
Elements:
Fire
Water
Earth
Wind
Ice
Light
Dark
How it works:
A wolf would rise through the ranks as usual. He earns the official rank "Pup" when he's about a month old. He has special powers; manipulating any one of the 7 elements listed, excluding light and dark. Once he realizes his power (before he's a month old), his fur would change from white to the corresponding color of said element. About a year of training would take him to the rank of Guardian. A Guardian's duties are to protect the pack, hunt, and sometimes assist the Medics. A Guardian would only assist a Medic if that's his desired path. Medics' jobs are fairly self explanatory. A Warrior's duties are to protect the pack and breed (males only with one exception). Female Warriors can become breeders if they are injured badly enough. If a male is injured as badly, he retires. The breeders/retirees keep their insignia so they're respected for their rank and injury. Kins are the gods of the wolves. Their elements are light and dark. They control the sun, moon, stars, and planets. Warriors become Kins by showing that they're worthy of such a great responsibility. Not all Warriors become Kins.
