Guild Wars 2, Gunz 2 (steam), March of War (you can play it with your browser or by steam for when you get bored, not a serious game). I'm also looking for some MMORPGs or MMORTS

Eh thats too bad woulda loved to play with ya on PoE. But guild wars 2 is certainly a great game to chill out on and enjoy as well.

Try Gunz 2, is full PvP with a good campaing. We can play it if you want.

I was gonna say GW2 or maybe Secret World. I kinda wish City of Heroes was around still, that was something I could always go back to.

Love Guild Wars 2 here, though on Devona's Rest I've only run into 3 other RPs besides a couple friends that play. Kinda sad considering that GW2 is just so perfect for RP. I don't do Dungeons, PvP, WvW, trans, hammer runs etc - I just like RP and PvE solo'ing, but a friend who loves the PvP and WvW stuff said that of late they've been doing lots of great events in it and it's been a lot of fun. Might be worth a return to. :)

Besides, Charr are sexy. :3

oh and Path of Exile is also a nice one.

I've been tearing up the sky in World of Warplanes this past year while it was in Beta. Haven't had as much time to play these days, but it's made by the people behind World of Tanks, which seems somewhat popular in some circles. Sure beats playing Nth generic elf, dwarf, or other MMO clone character.

A lot of people prefer War Thunder to World of Warplanes (including me)
but I still prefer World of Tanks. Wonder what'll happen when WT brings out tanks

It's a little funny, both teams are basically creating clones of each other. Wargaming started with World of Tanks, and have that game polished up nicely. Now they have World of Planes, which even I will admit has much room to grow. Gaijin the people behind War Thunder just started with planes, and have that part down quite well. Both are planning naval warfare at some point in the future.

War Thunder is a bit more on the Sim side from what I've played, even in the arcade mode. I do enjoy sims sometimes, but normally I prefer to just jump in and get the battle under way which is what Warplanes made me enjoy. Given I just use an Xbox360 controller for games, Warplanes just seems easier to play, also.

Both games, Warplanes and War Thunder, have good points, and places to improve. I just started with Warplanes, and devoted quite a bit of time Beta Testing the game, so that's where most of my skill points and kill points are at.

Could always play ff14. 30$ on steam but that's only for 30 days. Then its 15$ per month.
Ive been playing it for the past week and its pretty fun. A little slow in the combat area compared to WoW but otherwise fun.

Well that or if youd like to get lost in an rp for a few hours hit me up with a note ^^

I play Warframe mostly, as well as play(ed) World of Tanks. I don't currently because i need a computer that can run it at a much better framerate than it does.

Games I found to help with the time would be TERA Rising and Phantasy Star Online 2.
Both are great games and free to play. ^^

Has PSO2 actually come out in the U.S. yet? I waited all of 2013 looking forward to that, but never heard anything aside from connecting to the Japanese servers and using 3rd party translation patches.

No, it has no come to the US, and with the way it's going, will never come to the US. It has been delayed for so long, there is no hope of it coming to the US. Your better of just playing the Japanese server.

I am playing on the PSO2 on the Japanese server use PSO2 Tweaker, which allows the game UI, Story, and Items to be translated in English. No need to wait for the US version now, we just translated the game ourselves. ^^

Mabinogi. You can do/be everything, master ever skill, use any weapon from the start, and though the story isn't the best and is very...meh in most places, it's more of your skill as a player than of just mash x skills to win nearly every fight. (Early on anyway. Due to being able to master everything...after you've got enough stats from skills you just kinda..murder everything no mater what. Then again I'm 4-5+ Years into it and there's still a lot of stuff that I can't 1-2 shot.) Just go in as a human so you can get 2 other characters free.

No skill is pay to get, most/all of the 'best' weapons are craftable (while some are also in gacha crap), nothing is really restricted from you for not paying, and in the future (If NA allows it) Just ranking skills up will give you more stuff to rank more skills up faster. Just make sure you always have your character at age 17. You'll learn all that crap later if you go with it. lol

Oh, and for the most part all armor/clothing/light armor are the same. Only the looks are different. There are a few that do extra stuff but it's not really needed.

I recall that game, I played it in Very early Alpha and beta, i think i still got the characters, The Hulking giants that can carry others...

Cool. The only real change they've done is a free rebirths and almost all skills load instantly with a cooldown now, and magic/alchemy are stronger/faster now.

My craptastic computer can't play it for more than ten seconds without crashing anymore, but I had very good impressions of the Neverwinter Nights online game.

It's free to play too, so the only thing you've really got to lose is however much time it takes to download and install it.

I had some reasonable experiences with Dungeons and Dragons Online, although the level grinding was a bit of a put-off for me (but when isn't there level grinding?)

you got a 3ds? i've gotten into this game called steel diver: sub wars that's pretty fun and i end up wasting hours on.

watched the video for that, but it didn't seem like my cup of tea. and sub wars is free to play.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is my MMO of choice. It's a lot of fun. Good stories, great raids and dungeons, and pretty good PVP as well.

My second favorite is definitely Guild Wars 2, although there are some things I dislike about it.

And my third favorite is definitely Final Fantasy XIV. It's really quite good.

If you do play The Old Republic, be sure to join on the server Jedi Covenant. Myself and  ojikori play a lot.

Last time i played.. it was that zombie... Quest.. I got the green and black crystal..

I am in the Beta as well. And I quite enjoy it. Though it will fail against the two big boys (WoW and GW2)... it's the massive world that kept me playing. So much to discover.

Wow, it's the first time I hear that someone enjoy it O3O The world sure is interesting but I felt that it disappeared behind the gameplay and foes to the point even someone who loves background and exploration lke me can barely have fun with it D=

Well, i played all Elder Scrolls games so far (yeah, I'm old).. and enjoyed them all. And the gameplay in the old titles wasn't that good either. Yes, it has its flaws, yes it's not the best game out there.. But if you go in with too high expectations, you won't like it. Stop treating it like a proper MMO and think of it more as Skyrim with constant multiplayer. Because that's what it essentially is.

I prefer Skyrim's gameplay, and I guess I'm just too used to Skyrim and Oblivion xD Anyway, good to hear that it can find people who like it :P

If you like strategy and backgroung/mythology more than a responsive and fast RP, I think Dofus and Wakfu may be good ^^ They are turn-based but what they offer is a wonderful universe with a mythology and characters at least as interesting as any mythology in our world <3

I play FFXIV, myself (though I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan, so that's probably why I'm so hooked to it), but Guild Wars 2 and DC Universe Online are good MMOs as well!

You need to know a ton of people, If you go with any new mmo.
