Okay so, after a rather long and somewhat impromptu hiatus I'm starting to edit the story again, I wasn't satisfied with the prologue so I went back over it a couple of times (causing the hiatus) now I've got it nailed down and I'm happy. Made it to chapter two, I expect that to go quickly since I'm happy with the second draft as it is, the majority of the things I'm fixing are spelling grammar and punctuation errors. I've actually managed to get the whole story nailed down so I'm fairly sure I won't be adding much, may change a couple of things, but I don't know yet. Either way it's going smoothly and now that I'm back on it I hope to have it done fairly soon. Should I post an excerpt it here, or publish first it and post a link, or both?

More story news, I've nailed down how I want the over all story to proceed; the book that I am working on now actually takes place after the main cast of characters (Jessie, Rachael, etc.) grow up, so what I want to do is make a series of either short stories or a comic/webcomic of their lives leading up to the beginning of this first full length book. Basically following them through their lives and how they met, and so on. The first series/season won't be long or difficult, mainly it'll follow Colonel McLean, Commander Miles, and Jessie up to the point where they first meet (the prologue in the book). I definitely would love to have someone collaborate with me on this because there are a lot of things yet to go into this story and I would love to see this at least become a tv show some day.
