If you like meat, The Lonestar is a delicious restaurant :) there are three of ehm in Ottawa. There's parliament hill you can visit, a bunch of museums... Ehm.... You can go skating on the canal if it's open. Just a couple of things you can do there :)

Thanks. Yeah, I was looking at the map. There are indeed a lot of museums. Will have to make up my mind by tomorrow

I'll be having classes most of the afternoon :/ But perhaps if you have time in the mornings / evenings?

Most people would want to visit the parliament. After that, the Byward Market has a lot of small shops. In the summer there are vendors selling fresh vegetables. Not much else to see around Ottawa in the Winter. If you like to skate, the canal is open. And despite Ottawa's reputation as a boring town, there is a lot of nightclubs, too.

I'm coming in in the morning, but I think i'll probably be done with what I came to do by the afternoon. Evening could work :)

I am apparently going to be a few blocks from parliament so I'll probably go to have a look. Do you know f there is a place that rents skates if I wanted to go to the canal?
