It is my personal belief that a story should be as long as it needs to be to convey itself properly. Others would probably say that longer is a better idea though.

you´re probably right; I had a small fear about making something too long (knowing that it can end up as an hindrance than something you can enjoy)

For some, a longer story might be seen as a waste of their time, deciding that they won't dedicate more than 30 minutes of their day to read your things. I don't personally understand that though, because you can always just drop it at any time and come back at a later point in time to finish.

(though I must admit that I HATE with everything I have to stop reading something before I finish it completely)

Do whatever you feel is best, buddy. You can't let yourself conform to everybody else's needs all the time. There just is no pleasing everyone, after all.

Yea if you have a strong idea you should try and stretch it far if possible. Each idea fits in a different way
