Why this image was chosen - This image is quite easy on the eyes not just because its well done but the colors are dark and so is the background. The first things that strike me about this image would be that its feet, ( or back end ) first, then there's the long thick meaty looking tongue. In this kind of digital media the shape of it turned out to be quite attractive and so are the multi colored details in the surfaces. The mouth looks really big, the teeth have some neat looking detail work and coloring to give them more depth. The prey is sufficiently worried looking and i Like the way one arm seems to be pawing ( or clawing ) at the back of the tongue. The detailing work in the scales is impressive and I love the casual look in the predator's eye that makes it look like they've done this many times before. The extra detailing on the chin, neck and corners of the mouth added to the overall strength of the work has me faving this into the group's hall of fame collection.
