Saw the musical last night. Was way more awesome than I expected it to be.
I hadn't seen the movie since I was a little kid... so the musical sparked plenty of nostalgia.
My absolute favorite part of the performance was 'Be Prepared' by Scar and his hyenas.
I absolutely loved it! Especially when all the hyenas were marching like a certain army.
That was intense...
10/10 for my first Broadway performance attended.
If I can ever attend The Lion King musical again, I definitely will.
I'd even do it just to see that one song again hehe...
Call me evil if you want.
I guarantee you I'm not the only one who adores that part.

Powerful is a very fitting word for the Broadway version. And I like power...
