... you should be as offended as I am when, in real life, orcas are captured and made to perform for people at places like Seaworld or Marineland. :/ California is proposing a bill that would ban the use of such animals for entertainment, and while it's not the international ban that needs to exist, it's at least a first step in the right direction. SumOfUs has a petition that's going in the hands of the folks pushing the bill through. Over 948K people have signed it already, and they're looking to get to 1 million strong (or more) to make it blatantly clear that people are against this ridiculous, out-dated mentality that it's okay to do this to sentient, intelligent other creatures purely for human entertainment.
