It's tax time realize I need to pay the government their requested due... This directly conflicts with my living expenses. As such – I'm opening up an “artslave” type auction.
Terms apply as below.
Minimum Bid Increment – 5 USD

24 Hours - 500 USD (Or Buy Me Now)(weekly installments are allowed)
48 Hours – Top bidder (weekly installments are allowed)
Anything (drawn) you want for a year whenever* you want it - 6000 USD
(monthly installments are allowed)
Notes:
Rendered digital paintings at 2000 * 2000 at 150 DPI typically are completed in 6 hours without background.
All pieces are artists choice of detail by default unless otherwise mentioned/requested.
Any bids added in the last 15 minutes of the auction will extend the
Auction payments are due on completion. If you bid and lack the funds to pay – you will be barred from all future auctions/special sales. (exceptions being for installment options)
You will be purchasing the artwork – not the reproduction rights.
Invoices will be issued for installment payments. If not met by due date – art slave contract will be considered void.
Should year contract be met – delivery will include all work done under contract delivered via mail on a 8-16 GB flash drive. Secondary contract with full terms of service will be drafted for commissioner and artist records.
* Within reason. Requests limited to 2 per day because a broken artist is no good to anybody.

Yah.
$100 bid.
For example - if the winning bid was 600 dollars (hey we can dream right? ;3)
12 hours weekly = 300 dollars per week
6 hours weekly = 150 dollars per week
4 hours weekly = 100 dollars per week
At the BIN it would be
12 - 250 per week
6 - 125 per week
4 - 84.33... per week
It could also be stretched out over pay periods at a rate of no less than 100 per fortnight.
Oh well, I'm sure Kabi and I will giggle plenty at her easy money. Hope he has good taste at least.
I wonder about that too from time to time...reasons vary of course (exchange rates between U.S. and other countries, saving up to commission only 1-2 artists almost exclusively instead of several, etc.), but for a few people I know of that commission often, at least, they have pretty high-ranking jobs/careers whose pay grade is easily several times higher than the average job, in such a way that affording furry art is almost nothing to them.
Other than that, I honestly couldn't say. *shrugs* I'm going to stop there at that, as I'm just ranting at this point. ;^_^
