Or at least, it might soon.
Yep, I've thought about it for a few weeks, and me,
Karno and a few other friends have discussed it, and HtbD might soon be getting its very own website, and a Patreon account to help it grow.
Now, while I'm still figuring out some of the mechanics of it all, I have a few questions for the fans of the comic.
1) I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but I think there's at least a chance that the comic might get over-sponsored. If that happens, I feel it's only right to give the generous fans bonus material. My question is, what would you like to see?
2) Is there anyone who would like to see the comic in color? if we get a lot of patron, this could actually be affordable, but the question is if anyone would want it. Me personally, I would prefer to see the comic stay black and white, since that's the way it's always been, but I'd like to hear the fans' input here.
HtbD will of course continue to be posted here, so you long-time fans don't need to fret, but it might also show up on a new website. You will be informed when/if this comes to pass.
Please, speak up, let's hear your thoughts on this.

2) I think the comic looks fine in black and white. I'm not complaining.
If it's get's or when it get's over-sponsored, what bonus material, that's a hard one.
Well just more art of the cast from HtbD, made by artist vote in by the fans or maybe a mini-comic, that is just the first fire from the hip.
and i am with you on the color thing, it would be fun to see them with color, but i think it would loss something, for the black and White, just Work so well.
It can stay in black and white.
2. would look good
The idea for a bonus material would be really cool if it comes to that!
like cumshots or fucking loop animations c:
YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
I do like the idea behind the concept of "Patreon" but I do see a real problem evolving for people were another lot of people feel entitled to stuff because they "sponsored" you.
Also the idea behind "Patreon" is to sponsor artists in their various artistic endeavors whereas your idea is but a single project. I don't know the house rules or "Patreon" but might it not be possible that this will pose a problem now or the future?
The Patreon funding is only to help fund the comic. It will still be available for free to everyone; still here until I get the new website up and running, and thereafter both there and here.
And I will have the Patreon set to "per upload" instead of "per month". That way, if we don't produce anything, you don't have to pay a cent.
As for the sponsors feeling entitled, there will be tiers based on how much you donate, but I'm thinking that Patreon doesn't give you anything exclusive, it just gives you a headstart, since the material will be made available for free later on.
And finally, I think that varies. Look at Pokkuti and Kenno Arkan. Both of them only mention a single comic that they offer sponsorship to. And on that note, there *are* actually other adult comic projects that I'm thinking of getting Patreon-support for, but I need to check a few facts first.
2- Maybe some 'special' pages in color, one you feel could work in either medium. Black and white works just fine as a whole, but maybe a splash of color here and there would work.
1. I would love to see a prequel of how Gustav had that curse before, and why the hell did the village seemingly, almost left him for dead. The backstories of the main Dragoness of the series, and the other ones too. More sexy action with the other dragonesses. Other off, but hot-topic stuff in the stories, that doesn't always involve sex (like Slypon's comic series called "Ehs"). That's it.
2. IMHO, if your going to open a website that's going to distribute this comic series, do it in black and white. Now if you're thinking of selling the series, and possibly the bonus content material, and whatnot, do it in color. That is also it.
I hope I helped in this.
