why am i leaving FA? well, the simple answer is, i have no reason for being here
i primarily use tumblr and weasyl to keep up with furry artists, and i don't require FA to keep up with friends. so, that's it.
the recent drama surrounding this site has added to it, but primarily i just don't care about FA anymore. to further that, i just don't really care about furries anymore either.
the fandom has a lot of drama and immaturity and the further i delve into it, the more negativity it brings up. the art just isn't important enough to me to maintain a regular presence in the fandom. bad eggs or whatever, it's still people i'd rather not force to keep in my life.
i'll still show up at cons (not sure which, since FF is gone) and i'll always cherish the art of my OCs, but it's time i moved on.
my friends in the furry fandom will always be my friends. of course, i didn't have to say it. if we truly are friends, you already knew that. i'll always love all of you for who you are, regardless of what i choose to do in regards to the furry fandom.
