Hello everyone.
So today I finally got my personal trainer certification. With the purchase of some business insurance and a revamp of these forms I got, I can officially open up business as a personal trainer. Most people know I've been real active and love talking about different aspects of health/fitness, but now I can take on clients and put that knowledge to use :)
Thank you all for all the questions and comments and conversations I've had about these subjects. Every conversation brought me that much closer in my research to be the best trainer I can be. Please feel free to hit me up if you're looking for any motivation or advice on how to become healthier :)
And wish me luck y'all, I'm hoping this turns into a lucrative alternative to a minimum wage job somewhere.

It just takes time to get there. There's a book I highly recommend to anyone trying to learn the tricks to dieting. its called "Why we get fat, and What to do about it", by Gary Taubes. the first chapter is a little dry, medical terms and stuff, tri-glycerides, insulin, all that kind of stuff and what it does to your body, but after that, he makes a very strong case for how we should be eating and the case studies are absolutely fascinating. .I recommend this to everyone, I've even bought my friends copy. One buddy said after reading the book, in 2 months he dropped 30 lbs. Maybe it'll help you too. By knowing what you are putting in your body and the harsh truth of what it does, maybe you'll want to take that carb money, and slowly start stocking your shelves with better options.
Diets don't work, it's a lifestyle change you seek ^^
