So FWA! What turned out to be a planning nightmare for many reasons turned out to be one of my most enjoyable conventions ever.

I roomed with my boyfriend, and a few of his second life pals, who turned out to be amazing folks. I really regret not hanging out more, but I was really busy all convention ;;

I worked the artist alley, and I gotta say its probably the most enjoyable thing at cons, even more so than suiting. I love interacting with people, and I just enjoy making art for people and actually being able to see their reactions.

It actually really surprises me when people recognize my name, or say they've got friends with art from me. I'm always humbled that people come back to commission me again as well ;; ksdgjdjg everyone was such a pleasure to meet and work with, so thank you everyone who stopped by to chat, and thank you to those who bought art!

I didn't get to suit as much as other cons, but my friend wore her (first time suiting ever XD) and my boyfriend wore her some as well. I suited for the parade, and a bit on Sunday, otherwise it was them in Lila XD

One of the many joys of FWA, was meeting my long time friend Toz! Toz and I met forever ago (5+ years) on the pkmncollectors livejournal community. She was so fun to be around, and we got to bring some choice pokemon toys that we took photos with (Kinda a tradition in the comm, when you go on vacation to take pics with your travel buddies :) ) This was her very first furry convention, and I am happy she had a great time, we are already planning on next year.

Another awesome thing I did was meet up with Jeani and I met awhile back, when she first commissioned me. She has stood out as an amazing repeat client, and I always enjoyed working with her. I wanted to get nice photos with her, and despite the FurShoot booth being broken into (Yes!!) Sunday we did get photos with them, and that was such a treat!!

There were so many amazing people that made my convention great, despite the same hotel issues it did seem to be a bit better than last year. At least next year it will be in a hotel that is equipped for a convention :)

I am so stoked, and have had a wonderful time. I have two badges I need to finish, and two that I need to mail because we couldn't catch eachother.

That being said, my original que is going to be worked on, and I am really back in the swing of things.

Thank you everyone ;; I am humbled by your kindness, everyone who recognized me/my fursuit YOU made my convention. I loved every bit of it, and I look forward to next year in a brand new hotel!! :)
