Kitty Passed Away
Just a heads up, one of my cats (Gatz) died last night. He's been sick for a while and not getting better, last night though things escalated for him very badly and he didn't pull through. He was scared and in a lot of pain, and I knew he would not be with us for much longer. I tried my best to make him comfortable, and as much as it hurt to see him suffering I was with him until he took his last breath, because I didn't want him to feel alone.
Because he has been sick for a while, having trouble both eating and walking (with vets not helping us, just saying we don't feed him enough even though him not eating was a symptom not a cause... telling us maybe he has an infection somewhere or, well the tests we did were fine, and then sending us home with expensive food) so it doesn't come as a surprise, just know that I'm going to be out of it for a while.
I'll still try to keep to my schedule as usual just at a possibly slow or even weird pace. We'll see how my mood and stress levels (which of course tend to agitate my condition and cause pain flareups) handle the situation.

I know what it's like to lose a pet and at least you were there for him.
I lost a pet snake and wasn't around for it.
And my family tried to cover it up.
She was also sick and the "exotic" vets didn't know what was wrong either. :/
Take all your time recovering from the loss.
Because I wasn't speaking for all vets, just those.
They did tests... my bet, they had no idea what was wrong, so they gave them the food in the hope that the cat would get better. Vets are human too, and the only other option is to run further, more expensive tests that aren't likely to bring up anything else. Honestly, if this was a case of money, they would have suggested those tests.
My condolences. :/
I can relate. Best wishes to you and may Gatz rest in peace.
please take your time and take care of your self. rest in peace gatz.
please know you will be in my prayers.
