Asking Your Opinion (guns)

Before I tart. DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A MASSIVE DEBATE CLUSTERFUCK! Respect people and their opinions.
So I am curious to know what my watchers' opinions on guns are.
I will tell you how I feel. I feel that guns are a great source of fun if used correctly. I enjoy target shooting and hunting. I personally will not shoot anything I don't plan to eat. I do believe in personal defense firearms. They save lives. I believe that laws do not stop criminals. I believe there is no way to enforce a ban. I believe n the right to bear arms and defend the nation from all threats foreign and domestic. This means I believe that weapons that rival military quality should be available (albeit with a bit more regulation than regular guns) to the public. I do not believe the AR platform should be considered an "assault rifle" in legal terms, because it is no more powerful than many semi-automatic hunting or sport rifles, and does not meet the technical definition. I believe gun safety training courses should be readily available and free, or low cost for anyone who wants to take them.
I have friends who are on both extremes and everywhere in between in their opinions on this matter.
But I am curious in the general opinions of my watchers. Comment below and remember DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A DEBATE CLUSTERFUCK!

Hell, I shot your rifle yesterday.
Guns are my life's passion.
Not informed on firearm safety or handling.
They usually just think "AHH BIG SCARY LOOKING GUN IT KILLS EVERYTHING NO LET ANYBODY HAVE IT"
but what you were really aiming for: I know how to use a gun, I own a gun, but I do know that I have at least one family member who would still be alive today if an officer of the law]/i] hadn't had his hand on his gun one day, when he pulled someone over, for [i]speeding of all things >//<" long story short, yeah I think people should be allowed to own guns if they want to defend themselves, but I don't think they should take every available opportunity to pull out their weapon
An as I see it the ones who want all guns banned (in my case) are usually the ones in high crime urban areas, where gun violence is seen in regular basis. and the assumption that, total removal will solve all the worlds problems.
banning guns doesnt make criminals give up theirs.
An that is pretty much it, line their own pockets as their is also reason why takes are in Chicago, 14% tax on the dollar value of purchases. An that is the point, but tell than to the yahoos who always say their is not enough gun laws out there. There is a reason also why based on school education we are ranked 49 out of 50 in the US.
