Week 19 & PLAYOFFS!!!! - FAFF 2013

Well, friends, Season #45 is now officially in the books. And HERE ARE YOUR PLAYOFF COMBATTANTS!!!
Tucson, Columbus, Omaha, Little Rock (NFL)
Dallas, St. Louis, Connecticut, New York (AFL)
Houston, Virginia Beach, Miami, Washington (CFL)
Cincinnati, Indianapolis (wild cards)
bold = clinched division
With a 27-24 win over the Tacoma Blue Jays on Friday, Washington secured the final playoff spot (10-6) over the late-surging Charlotte Men (9-6-1), who - had they not tied against Denver mid-season - would have broken the tie and been in contention. Who knows - the Denver Horses, who also finished 9-6-1, could have found themselves in the same position...
The Connecticut Yankees and Dallas Knights have clinched the bye round (Connecticut wins the tiebreaker over Columbus), and the Houston Texans (9-7) are our lovely division-clinching team that will have to suffer an away game, as this is a symptom of the 14-team bracket and having the lowest record of any team in the playoffs. Houston breaks the tie v.s. the Los Angeles Litter (9-7) because of their division record (6-2), and having beaten the Litter both times during the regular season.
The season standings will be posted soon on the Wiki - which is still in the early stages of building, and there are about 5 teams yet without a primary page. Once I get those done, and have the final edits made, we can move forward and start advertising the shizz out of this league! For now though... read and enjoy!
