The least expensive Wacom I've seen in the "cheap" Intuos for $69. The Monoprice tablets are a lot less expensive, and I finally got a chance to check one out in person, even though it was only for a short time. It felt a lot different than my Wacom, and it did feel cheaper but that's because it is cheaper. A lot cheaper - so maybe that's something to consider. Either way, I hope you figure something out and can continue your digital artz!

We found an upgrade to the one that I've got right now for I think it was around $70 to $80, so that's not bad, it'll just take a bit of juggling for us to manage to get it, then I'll be up and running again before anyone knows it!

The new Bamboo you mean? They changed the name to Intuos - the non-pro ones. They have a low end one that doesn't support touch, and yeah, it's like $60 or something. It also doesn't have the eraser on the pen. The next one up is the Pen and Touch for like $90. The only differences are that it supports touch and the pen has the eraser.

My uncle brought one of the Monoprice tablets over, and I had never seen one in person before. It had a different "feel" to my Wacom, but if you want something big you can do that with the Monoprice for the same cost as a small Wacom.

Aww I really wish I had the money to help you out, that bites!! I always fear mine breaking ;-; I hope you are able to get a new one soon though!!
