My post BLFC report
So another BLFC has come and gone, and I had just as much, if not more fun this year. The final numbers were announced today and all I can say is WOW... 465 Fursuits, 1442 Attendees, $16,650 for charity. This is only their second year and they more than doubled last year's attendance of 704, and I think the fursuit numbers may have doubled as well(or come darn close to it). The staff did a phenomenal job keeping the peace and there were many many changes this year that came straight from feedback received last year, and it paid off for them!
Highlights(in no particular order):
-Getting to see some of my old fur friends from AZ that I have just not been able to catch up with otherwise.
-Seeing a few familiar faces from out of state that I haven't seen in even longer.
-Participating in, and winning my first live cribbage tournament, due in part to doubleskunking my opponent in the first round ;)
-Helping and getting to hang out with the totally awesome Star and Lexi from Arctic K9 Creations.
-Meeting new furs like Glitch, Rhey, Budi, and Arctic and meeting some of my fave artists in person for the first time like Likeshine and Flinters.
-Having the BEST server ever at the all night Cafe! We love you Cory!!!
-Dancing to some awesome 80's music Friday night and being reminded how much I love to just let loose and dance!
-Getting a Rainbow Brite sprite from Mystic :)
-Flying was a much better plan than driving for just my mate and I this year. Not sure which way we'll go next year, it may in part depend on if we have anyone going with us.
Regrets:
-Not actually getting to bowl this time around, something I plan on remedying next year.
-Missing the closing ceremonies and feedback session, though this was for a good reason, and the info I missed was just released today, so no real big regret here.
Wishes for next year:
-More Bowling(as stated previously)
-Host a panel or two (I was too short on time this year to properly put together a panel)
-Have my full fursuit completed so I can debut it at the convention (I may have a partial by AZFC)
-Have as much fun as this year and then some
-Hit a royal flush on the video poker machine ;)

Congratulations on winning the cribbage tournament! Maybe if I make it next year I can challenge you. ;) I'm a bit out of practice these days, but hopefully I still got the skills.
So, how was the 80's theme, and what cool swag did you wind up coming home with?
