I extremely hate my job. Today I was to work 2-10:30 (due to setting up a big event tomorrow) So I worked hard and got all my stuff done by 10pm. Rather than sending me on my way, they decide to make us work till 11 (they asked to stay longer too after 11) because the other department slacked off all week and is panicking to get everything done!

On top of this, I am now eating my dinner, and am supposed to be back at work tomorrow for a 8:30-5:30 shift (which they also asked if I could come in at 7...) I work full-time already and they won't pay me overtime. And the district manager has the nerve to tell me last week that "I need to be more productive..." I wish jobs were easier to find, I would be out of this one so fast!

Sorry I don't usually vent on here, but I'm at wits-end with this place. Hell I've been there a bit over 6 years and haven't even been looked at for a promotion. When I got put in charge of a department, we had best sales in that area, for the 1st time ever...

UGH!
