Most certainly those who voted for such an act didn't think the consequences and aftermaths of such an ill-fated action. They will be damaging the ecosystem more than they would be trying to fix it.

This kind of human meddling into wildlife "affairs" is unasked for and in the end, it would only be detrimental, not only for the ecosystem, but also for us.

Hopefully, this petition will acquire the number of votes it needs and it will achieve its purpose.

When this is done to humans, we call it genocide. This is not wildlife management. This is farmers choosing to kill off a native bird to protect their investment.

And if it was 4000 African grey parrots or 4000 macaws there would be more outrage.
