lately I've been pretty bad at art. I don't know what it is (maybe the stress and the crap at work and the poorness and WHATEVER) but I just can't get drawin' and all my Christmas presents have turned into fail in a pail (I have no money you see, I must make them all).

I trashed the things.

Back to the drawing board.

also I've been thinking a lot about the stuff I draw. Sometimes I have doubts, like 'is this too weird?' 'is this too boring?' 'is this the kind of weird that's done so often that it's boring?' I sometimes feel bad that I'm posting stuff that people on my watchlist would think is lame.

maybe the people who dig it when I draw Terry being all gay and wearing skirts or just all my wacky character designs in general hate it when I feel like drawing miscellaneous crazy things with their insides showing or batman doodles.

and vis-versa.

they are pretty stupid worries, but worries all the same. especially since one of the reasons I post is my almost legendary fear of showing people my artwork in real life (except for those horrible sketches I throw at Kasey when we're at work but SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE DID IT IS ALL PAY BACK). And really most of my really out-there stuff never sees the light of day.


Oh man Stttttttttttuuuuuuuuuuff. My head hurts a little.

And I need a new job. But the economy where I live is horrible and I'm lucky to have this crappy one. Oh well.


ALSO: in advance all these problems are in my brain and have nothing to do with you guys. you weirdos, no matter what you draw or how you get your collective lulz are pretty nice to me most of the time and this is the most important thing to me. just felt like typin'.

*sigh* gonna go draw squid monsters.
