One year musings. Pt.2 My Writing
I've mentioned before in the past how stunned I was that I was able to write as much as I have for these characters. Sadly... I seem to have hit a bit of a road block. There's probably about 6-8 chapters left in Two Badgers, but I just can't seem to get myself in gear and actually write them. I know what's going to happen, how it's going to happen, and what the end result of everything will be. But... I just can't get motivated to pick up my pen (or keyboard as it were) and start writing again.
I suspect that my early proliferation of writing was a result of me not being the artist I wanted to be, and I spent more time writing than drawing. Because I couldn't express myself visually, I chose to express verbally in written form, and the writing just flowed out of me. Now that I can draw as well as I can, I can't seem to get interested in writing again. Suddenly, I find myself with sympathy for George R.R. Martin (who's notorious for spending YEARS between books while fans clamor for the continuation of his story) in that it's HARD to write a story if you get bogged down in the details like I seem to have done.
That being said, I am still thrilled that I've written as much as I have and gotten to tell the story as far as I have. I just really hope I will somehow find the motivation and time to get back on track with Two Badgers and finish the darn story... cause I want to write it as much as some of you want to read it.
I still wish that more people would read Of Tunnel Rats and Badgers and Tale of Two Badgers, as I feel that they offer something truly unique to the fandom. I fully intend at some point to turn the stories into a comic form (HUGE undertaking, and scary as hell) so that the story can be told and familiarized to more people. These stories are the mark I want to make on the fandom. They are the core of Brock as a character, and as cute and touching as art of him may be, it means little without the basis of those stories. Knowing what he's been through and where he's coming from makes the art more poignant and appealing.
So... in conclusion. Yes, I will finish Two Badgers at some point, I haven't abandoned the story, I just can't seem to write at the moment. If you haven't read the stories, you should, and I would love it if you did. :)

FA+

I also think with babyfur stuff, people kind of come to FA to get their "fix" on it. They like to see the diaper and cub stuff immediately. I really like the way you mixed it in with the military theme in your first story, but I don't know how many FA users would enjoy the military aspect in itself...it may be the regression that makes them read in the first place.
I probably wouldn't have read your story had I not gotten to know you more in streams and learned about your characters there. I think that's the thing with stories....it's hard to know if they'll be any good when you read them, so it can make you not want to give them a chance. So that's why I first had to kind of get to know you before I felt like giving yours a chance.
same with "the lost one" came across his Petie character
