I've experienced that same with a person on furriesxtreme.

Basically this person takes Fursonas and plays off as if they are his to have sexual roleplays and says he takes it down if the person doesnt like it being up but doesnt ask permission in the first place

People do that quite a bit, and its really quite rude to not even see anyone ask before-hand

Sadly, this sort of thing is pretty common. Friend of mine brought to my attention a year or so ago that someone was using my Jijix pic of Tenkai as one of "their" characters on F-list. At the time I wasn't even a member of F-list, so I couldn't even really report them, and something tells me the admins at F-list couldn't care less about poached character pics anyway.

Ainhanda/Sledge showed me some guy who's entire Twitter account was filled with pics of his character Sledge being used by some vapid idiot who couldn't even form a complete sentence without adding an annoying "=^.^=" face into it somewhere. Ainhanda doesn't have a Twitter account, so he really couldn't do anything about it either, and again, I doubt the admins at Twitter are terribly concerned about someone posting someone else's furry pr0n pics. Heh.

It's sad that so many people seem to think anything they find on the internet is "free game" to use as they please, but, well, there's not much more we can do other than call those people out when we find them and make them at least feel like first class ass-hats for stealing pics (unfortunately, most folks who're tactless enough to swipe pics probably won't lose a wink of sleep over it either, but aww well).

I recognise most of those characters as belonging to someone else.
