I'd be really curious about a full novel expansion from this story. When I read the proof copy of Allasso 3, "Cold Scent" stood out as one of my favorites.

I actually bashed something out for NaNoWriMo 2012, but it needs some serious editing. Positive reaction to Cold Scent has just moved it a lot higher up the To Do list though - thank you so much!
