Adventures in Management: Day 2
General
I decided to write today, and here's what I wrote:
Where's day one? There is no day one! Reason: Day one was like a normal day in box, but I was able to wander around more often.

SO! For those of you who don't know, (Like, all but 2-3 of you) I've gotten a promotion to management. Today was my first, real, honest day as an assistant manager. I work at a theater, to clarify.
Let me say this. Being a manager is god damn easy. I literally spent a couple hours with just... nothing to do... at all.
I dealt with a couple minor issues with customers. One was over a mildly crazy customer and some seating changes.
Another was a group of four that bought tickets for a show on Thursday and came in today.
Other than that I helped out box office since we were short a person, wandered aimlessly, bullshitted with the ushers, and generally settled in.
And then we closed.
And that's where the real fun began. Roughly three hours counting money, coupons, and various other things. Holy, fucking, shit.
Don't get me wrong, it's easy, but SO. FUCKING. TIME. CONSUMING! AAAAAARRRRRRRGH!
I assume this will get easier/faster with time, but holy cow! I never realized that that was a normal night.

More to come as I feel like it.

FA+

It is HIGHER, but it's certainly not a ton more.
That was with three (and a half) of us working on stuff too.
The only issue is that this particular supervisor should NOT have been made a supervisor, and is a total numbskull.
General employees - Concessions workers, box office workers, ushers, etc.
Supervisors - An employee with a bit more weight to their words and a few more responsibilities, little bit higher pay too.
Assistant Managers - Me. Main goals are keeping everyone safe, keeping customers happy, keeping money safe.
Managers - Two of 'em, one main, one assistant. The big bosses at the theater.
Though I doubt the numbskull will get any better. He's... Well he's not smart...
You may need to suck on it a bit to get it writing...
:B
But you gotta come here to see movies, and you can only get in if there's space.
