Okay so...
Just going to say this: I am not trying to replace any group! I want this to be a fun friendly way to communicate and get more meeting events going. That is all.
That being said, I started a local furgroup. Its called OpFurConnection. We have a facebook: https://www.facebook.com/opfurconnection
This is to help keep everyone in touch! We wanna be there to support the locals states around us. We want to support the local furbusiness around here. We want to help everyone grow!
We started right after GFM after realizing that there was hardly any Kansas presents at all! its not that far! I carpooled with Snowbunny the tauntaun and she had a group help with the hotel. We want to be there to support first cons to continue we want more events to get together. Times are tough and we don't expect everyone to tend every single one but even if its a day at the park to suit up and have a blast with eachother doesn't that count for something?
So to all my Kansas furs, Missouri furs, Colorado furs, Nebraska furs and anyone wanting to be apart of connecting with everyone with what we believe in then Join us! ^-^ (no that isn't a culty thing..LoL)
Feel free to post pictures of any meets you've been too, any cons you've been too, anything that makes you happy just keep it clean. This is a group for ALL ages =)

Our next event is Memorial day weekend, a few of us are going to St.Louis Renfair. Snowbunny will be there Friday thru Monday and I will be there Sunday to Monday. I have one space in my car if anyone local needs a lift too or from. =) We will update via Facebook and we will in the future have a FA sometime during summer. =)
