Yeah, oddly enough, I was born on Cinco De Mayo, if anyone knows what that is.
I'm so glad I'll be 19! I have to say that as soon as I became 18, everything has gone better for me. I've learned SO much since my last birthday, grown so much despite how silly it sounds. I may have lost a few friends, one of which that comes to mind and I do miss the good times I had with him, but I have gained many more friends and I haven't felt so accomplished before in my life. It'll almost be a whole year since I graduated high school, and yet so much has happened, it really helps when you aren't doing the same old thing for 12+ years.
Other things going on my life:
* Been doing pretty well with my warehouse job, keeping it till I get a better job and I don't know when that'll be, but I'll do my best with the job I have now anyways. I only had a chat about my work performance and that was just yesterday, which must mean I've been doing pretty well these past 6 months if it only happened once. Sure the chat was about me falling a lil bit behind, but I wasn't actually THAT far behind. As the guy said, I was just under the line, so it's not that bad. I will try more though, just because I don't want that chat again and I want to be looked at positively by my supervisors. As much as I don't like the job I have, I shouldn't complain (except that I want to be paid more >#> )
* Related to the MNFurs, I've been going to nearly every event for a while now. Bi-Weekly, bowling, and soon the spring picnic that's coming this weekend. I hope that it doesn't rain, but in any case, I'll bring my favorite jacket with. Those who see me at the meets should know what it looks like XD I'm also a sponsor for the Fur Migration Con this year <3 It'll be the 2nd con I've ever gone to and I'm already sponsoring for it. I almost want to do it to all the other cons I go to and I just might, depending on if I keep my job long enough to work up all the money.
Oh yes, even though it's my gonna be my birthday, you don't HAVE to give me gifts. No one did it last year or the years prior and I don't expect anyone to do it now (I mean the furs). I just want you all to know how things are going for me and wish you all a good Cinco De Mayo on my behalf <3
